Teak and wooden terraces
Teak is an ideal material for outdoor terraces and achieving proper stability. A terrace made from teak can last for several decades, therefore, a proper installation is of the essence. Its beauty only increases with age.
In order to increase the lifespan of wooden terraces, attention should be given to:
- the base, on which it is installed (concrete, hydro insulation, metal construction)
- the way the teak terrace is fixed on the base
- proper drainage
- the geographical location of the installation (positioning, sun or shade exposure)
